Original AS 5008 Movement
The RGM model 110-A automatic alarm watch was originally introduced back in the late 90's. We had made a number of variations thru the years. It has been out of our offerings for over 5 years now. The movements are not produced anymore, the original movement was an AS-5008 from back in the 60's. Jaquet SA bought all the remaining parts for this movement in the 1980's and started to re-manufacture them with original and new parts as needed. In the 2000's, Jaquet SA was changed to La Joux-Perret and they continued with this movement until about 5 years ago. This is one of the most reliable movements and its design is very solid. Over the years many brands have used it in one form or another.
We have found parts to build a small quantity of the RGM Model 110-A and the 110-A GMT - we have dials, cases, and hands. The one part we need is the movement. I have a found a source for some remaining movements, so we have decided to offer them to our RGM Family of followers and clients.
Model 110-A and 110-A GMT Alarms
The 110-A Alarm watches have a very vintage feel to them, with the serpentine alarm hand to the buzz of the mechanical alarm. The 110A-GMT Alarm version has a classic pilot look with the addition of the useful GMT function in a window, and the easy readability of a black dial.
Movement Caliber: RGM- AS 5008/ La Joux-Perret 5900 - Automatic, 31 jewels, 28,800 vph. Rhodium finish - Cote de Geneve lines and perlage.
Functions: Hour / Minute / Date / Alarm, 110A-GMT also has a GMT function.
Case: Polished and Satin Brushed Stainless Steel. 38.2 mm X 12.8 mm, Sapphire crystal. 20mm lug width and water-resistant to 5-ATM.
