We recently discovered a bat outside, tucked underneath our window here at RGM. We needed to have the area filled with mortar, but when our mason began the work, he found this little guy!
The wonderful people from Ravens Ridge Wildlife Center came right out and were able to safely rescue him. A special thank-you to Libby for coming to his aid!
They took him back to their facility for a health check, after which he will hopefully be released back into the wild.
Ravens Ridge does such wonderful work, often with very limited funding. If you would consider making a donation through their website, it would go a long way toward helping them continue caring for wildlife in our area.
I would also encourage you to consider supporting a local wildlife rescue or rehabilitation center in your own community. These organizations do important work and depend greatly on the generosity of people like you.
Thank you for your consideration and for helping those who dedicate their time to protecting our wildlife.
All the Best,
Roland

PS. Our Model 600-M seems well suited for the job!
